What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Deka Lash Franchise Disclosure Document, Deka Lash or their designee will furnish a sample site layout plan to franchisees. Deka Lash also provides franchisees with criteria to help in selecting a site for their studio. However, the franchisee is responsible for locating and securing the franchise site, and Deka Lash must approve the site before the franchisee signs a lease.

Before signing a lease, subletting a space, or purchasing a space, franchisees must obtain written approval from Deka Lash for their proposed location. Deka Lash typically approves or disapproves a proposed site within 14 days after the franchisee submits all required information.

In the event that the franchisee and Deka Lash cannot agree on a site within the specified timeframe, the franchisee has the option to extend the timeline by obtaining approval and paying an opening deadline extension fee. Alternatively, Deka Lash may terminate the franchise agreement if a suitable site cannot be agreed upon.
