What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Deka Lash Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to have their site laid out by a furniture supplier that has been approved by Deka Lash. Deka Lash will provide a sample site layout plan. The franchisee must submit their layout plan to Deka Lash for approval, which typically takes 14 days.
Once Deka Lash approves the layout, the franchisee is responsible for remodeling the premises and installing the furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to the approved layout. Franchisees must also have Deka Lash approve their proposed lease or purchase agreement before signing any binding commitment.
This requirement ensures that each Deka Lash studio maintains a consistent brand aesthetic and functional design. By mandating the use of approved suppliers and layout plans, Deka Lash aims to control the quality and presentation of its studios, which can impact customer experience and brand perception. Franchisees should factor in the time and potential costs associated with this process when planning their studio setup.
