What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Deka Lash Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for conforming their premises to all applicable federal, state, and local ordinances, building codes, and licensing requirements. This includes obtaining any permits required for a studio that offers Deka Lash services.

Prior to signing a lease or purchase agreement, Deka Lash requires franchisees to have their site approved. Deka Lash will consider factors such as general location, proximity to other locations, neighborhood, traffic, signage, parking, size, zoning, physical characteristics, demographics, population density, and lease terms. Deka Lash may also conduct an on-site evaluation.

Additionally, Deka Lash will furnish a sample site layout plan, but the franchisee is required to have the site laid out by Deka Lash's approved furniture supplier and have the layout approved by Deka Lash. Once the layout is approved, the franchisee is responsible for remodeling the premises and installing the furniture, fixtures, and equipment accordingly.
