What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in the Customer Service Center, which assists with inbound inquiries, appointment setting, memberships, customer service, follow up, outbound sales & campaigns, and other services. The FDD states that franchisees must pay all reasonable fees imposed by the provider for these services. However, the specific fee amount is not disclosed in Item 8 of the FDD. Instead, the FDD indicates that the fee is specified in the Operations Manual.

This means that while participation in the Customer Service Center is mandatory, prospective franchisees will need to consult the Deka Lash Operations Manual to understand the exact costs associated with this service. The Operations Manual is a confidential document provided to franchisees after they sign the franchise agreement. Therefore, potential franchisees should inquire about the Customer Service Center fees during their due diligence process before signing the agreement.

Understanding the fees for the Customer Service Center is crucial for assessing the overall financial viability of a Deka Lash franchise. Franchisees should consider these costs when projecting their operating expenses and potential profitability. It is common for franchisors to detail specific fees in the FDD, but in this case, Deka Lash defers to the Operations Manual, making direct inquiry essential.
