What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated cost for Design / Architectural Plans ranges from $1,000 to $5,000. The low end of this estimate assumes that the franchisee will use Deka Lash's third-party Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) provider to lay out the space, eliminating the need for separate architectural plans.
The higher end of the estimate accounts for situations where architectural plans are desired by the franchisee or required by local regulations. These plans and related fees can fluctuate depending on the complexity of the space, the specific layout, and the construction requirements.
Prospective Deka Lash franchisees should investigate local requirements and consider the complexity of their chosen location to accurately budget for these potential design and architectural plan costs. This range highlights the importance of understanding local building codes and the potential need for professional architectural services, which can significantly impact the initial investment.
