What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with updates, modifications, or changes to software, subscriptions, licenses, tablets, computer systems, and equipment. Deka Lash may update or modify the specifications for these items, and the franchisee must promptly comply with these changes at their own cost.
This means that if Deka Lash decides to change the software or hardware requirements for the franchise, the franchisee will have to pay for the necessary updates or replacements. This could include purchasing new tablets, computers, or software licenses to meet the updated specifications. The franchisee bears the financial risk of these changes, which can impact their operating costs.
Franchisees should factor in potential costs for software and equipment updates when assessing the financial viability of a Deka Lash franchise. It is important to budget for these expenses and understand that Deka Lash has the right to make changes to these specifications, which the franchisee must then implement at their own expense.
