What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training should ideally be attended within three to five weeks of the business launch. However, the FDD also states that the franchisee or managing owner, along with a designated manager, must successfully complete the initial training program no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled opening of the Deer Solution business.
This initial training program takes place over approximately one week. Deer Solution schedules training sessions four to six times a year, roughly every eight to twelve weeks. The franchisor expects franchisees to complete pre-opening activities, such as securing local licenses, ordering service vehicles, and hiring a general manager (if applicable), before attending the initial training.
Prospective franchisees should note the apparent discrepancy between the ideal timeframe (3-5 weeks post-launch) and the mandatory completion deadline (30 days pre-launch). It is crucial to clarify with Deer Solution the exact timing and expectations for initial training to ensure compliance and optimal business preparation. Franchisees are also responsible for all travel expenses and employee wages related to attending the training.
