What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Deer Solution may require franchisees or their Operating Managers to participate in supplemental on-site training under certain conditions. Specifically, if a franchisee is not meeting what Deer Solution considers to be System performance standards, Deer Solution may, at its discretion, provide supplemental on-site training within the franchisee's Operating Territory.
This supplemental training is not free. The franchisee is required to pay Deer Solution's then-current supplemental training fee, which is currently $500 per on-site trainer, per day. In addition to the daily training fee, the franchisee must also cover the travel expenses, meals, and accommodation expenses incurred by Deer Solution for the trainer.
This policy highlights the importance of maintaining System performance standards within a Deer Solution franchise. It also means that franchisees need to budget not only for the initial training but also for potential supplemental training if their business underperforms. The cost of this training, including fees and expenses, could be a significant financial burden for a struggling franchise.
