What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may be required to pay a Management Service fee under specific circumstances where Deer Solution elects to manage the franchised business. This fee is triggered by events such as the death or disability of the franchisee, or if the franchisee fails to have the business managed by an authorized Managing Owner or Manager.
The Management Service fee is calculated as 20% of Gross Sales, in addition to any expenses incurred. This fee is invoiced to the franchisee.
This means that if a Deer Solution franchisee is unable to manage their business due to unforeseen circumstances, Deer Solution has the right to step in and manage the business, but the franchisee will incur a significant cost in the form of the Management Service fee. This fee structure incentivizes franchisees to ensure they have a plan in place for the ongoing management of their Deer Solution business, even in the event of unexpected challenges.
