What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are financial thresholds related to marketing expenses that franchisees must meet. Specifically, during the initial period before and after opening their Deer Solution franchise, franchisees are required to spend a minimum amount on marketing and promotion.
Prior to opening the franchised business, a Deer Solution franchisee must submit an initial marketing plan to the franchisor for approval. In the 30 days leading up to the opening and the first three months after the opening date, the franchisee is obligated to spend no less than $15,000 on marketing and promoting the new Deer Solution business, adhering to the franchisor's standards.
Of this $15,000, at least $10,000 must be allocated to the franchisor's affiliate for online marketing services conducted on behalf of the Deer Solution franchise. The franchisor retains the right to mandate that these startup marketing expenses be paid directly to the franchisor, its affiliates, or designated parties who will manage the startup marketing activities for the franchise.
