What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Deer Solution FDD, Item 23, which covers receipts, defines and discusses the Business Management System. The Business Management System refers to the software, internet, web-based, or cloud-based systems, point of sale systems, and customer relationship management systems that Deer Solution requires franchisees to use.
The FDD specifies that Deer Solution has the right to modify and designate alternative Business Management Systems. Deer Solution also retains direct access to the franchisee's Business Management System and the data within it. This data includes forms, customer information, inventory, and sales information.
For a prospective franchisee, this means Deer Solution has significant control over the technology used to manage the business and access to all operational data. It is important to understand what specific systems are currently in use, what data is collected, and how Deer Solution uses this data. A franchisee should also inquire about the costs associated with the Business Management System and any potential future changes or upgrades.
