What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all costs and expenses associated with their travel to and attendance at the Annual System Conference. This includes expenses such as travel, meals, and lodging for all personnel attending the conference.
This means that as a Deer Solution franchisee, you will need to budget for these expenses in addition to the annual conference attendance fee, which cannot exceed $1,500 annually. Even if a franchisee does not attend the Annual System Conference, Deer Solution has the right to still charge the Annual Conference Attendance Fee.
Franchisors often hold annual conferences to provide training, updates, and networking opportunities. It is typical in franchising for franchisees to cover their own travel and lodging costs for such events. Failing to budget for these required expenses could put a strain on the franchisee's finances.
