What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is directly responsible for the management and supervision of their employees. Deer Solution does not provide assistance with hiring or training employees. Franchisees must ensure their employees wear approved Deer Solution uniforms and that all services and products are prepared and maintained according to system standards and manuals. This means the franchisee has full control over their staff but must adhere to Deer Solution's brand standards.

This arrangement is typical in many franchise systems, where the franchisor sets the operational standards and the franchisee manages the day-to-day aspects of the business, including staffing. For a prospective Deer Solution franchisee, this means they need to be prepared to handle all aspects of employee management, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews. They will need to develop their own hiring and training programs to ensure employees meet Deer Solution's standards.

While Deer Solution does not provide direct assistance with hiring and training, they do offer initial and supplemental training programs for the franchisee or their operating manager. This training focuses on the Deer Solution system, standards, and procedures, but it is the franchisee's responsibility to translate this knowledge into effective employee management practices. The franchisee must also ensure employees adhere to the standards outlined in the manuals and maintain the proper uniforms, reinforcing the importance of the franchisee's role in upholding brand consistency.

Ultimately, the success of a Deer Solution franchise depends on the franchisee's ability to effectively manage and supervise their employees. This includes ensuring they are properly trained, adhere to brand standards, and provide excellent service to customers. While Deer Solution provides the framework and standards, the franchisee is the one who brings it to life through their employees.
