What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is a corporate entity, the appointed Managing Owner is required to attend and successfully complete the Training Program within 60 days of their appointment. This requirement ensures that the Managing Owner, who is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Deer Solution business, is adequately trained in the franchisor's standards, procedures, and best practices.
In the event of the death or permanent disability of the Managing Owner, the remaining owners of the corporate entity must appoint a new Managing Owner approved by Deer Solution within 30 days. This successor Managing Owner is also subject to the training requirement, ensuring continuity of qualified management.
If a franchisee fails to have a Franchisor approved Managing Owner in place within 30 days after a death or permanent disability, Deer Solution is authorized to appoint a manager to maintain business operations at the franchisee's expense until a qualified Managing Owner can take over. However, this does not relieve the franchisee of their obligations under the agreement, nor does it waive Deer Solution's right to terminate the agreement.
