How long does Deer Solution have to respond to a franchisee's proposed Administrative Office location request?

Within 30 days of our written receipt and submission of all information and documentation that we may request, we will respond to your proposed request for our approval or disapproval of the proposed location of your Administrative Office. Factors that into consideration include: characteristics of the proposed site; whether or not the proposed site meets our criteria for non-retail back-office operations; and the location of your proposed site relative to your overall Operating Territory and proximity to other franchisee operating territories. Within 60 days of signing your Franchise Agreement you must secure an Administrative Office location that we approve. If you do not meet this requirement for any reason, including our disapproval of a proposed Administrative Office location and/or your failure to find a suitable Administrative Office location that we approve during the 60 day period, we may terminate your Franchise Agreement without refunding any fees to you if you do not cure this default within 30 days of notice from us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Deer Solution has 30 days to respond to a franchisee's request for approval or disapproval of a proposed Administrative Office location. This 30-day period starts once Deer Solution receives all the necessary information and documentation related to the proposed location.
Deer Solution will consider factors such as the characteristics of the proposed site, whether it meets the criteria for non-retail back-office operations, and its location relative to the franchisee's operating territory and other franchisees' territories. The franchisee must secure an approved Administrative Office location within 60 days of signing the Franchise Agreement.
If a franchisee fails to secure an approved location within this 60-day period, including due to disapproval by Deer Solution or the franchisee's inability to find a suitable location, Deer Solution has the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. In the event of termination due to failure to secure an approved location, Deer Solution will not refund any fees to the franchisee if the franchisee does not correct this issue within 30 days of receiving notice from Deer Solution.
