- Initial Training for Replacement Operating Managers Your Operating Manager must complete, to our satisfaction, our initial training program. We will offer and make available to your replacement Operating Manager our initial training program which must be completed to our satisfaction. The initial training program will be provided by us at the facilities that we designate that, presently, is comprised of our Deer Solution Business located in Parsippany, New Jersey and at the certified training Deer Solution Business that we designate in New Jersey or virtually as designated by us. You will be required to pay our then current supplemental training fee for replacement Operating Manager, which is currently $500, per manager, per day for each replacement manager attending our initial training. - Administration of Marketing Funds We may administer and manage System-wide marketing funds comprised of a Brand Development Fund and/or Advertising Cooperative. (Franchise Agreement, Articles 9.A. and 9.G.);

- Hiring and Training of Employees We do not provide assistance with the hiring and training of your employees. You will be directly responsible for the management and supervision of your employees. For the protection of the System, you must ensure that all employees wear and maintain the proper uniforms with our approved System branded apparel and uniforms including, but not limited to the apparel and uniforms comprising System Supplies.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee hires a replacement Operating Manager, that manager must complete the initial training program to the franchisor's satisfaction. Deer Solution offers this training program at their facilities, which include the Deer Solution Business in Parsippany, New Jersey, or at a certified training Deer Solution Business in New Jersey, or virtually as designated by them.
The franchisee is responsible for paying a supplemental training fee for the replacement Operating Manager, which is currently $500 per manager per day. This fee covers each replacement manager attending the initial training.
Deer Solution also states that they may require the franchisee and their Operating Manager to participate in supplemental on-site training at the franchisor's discretion. If Deer Solution believes that the franchisee is not meeting system performance standards, they may provide supplemental on-site training within the franchisee's Operating Territory. The franchisee is responsible for paying a supplemental training fee, which is currently $500 per on-site trainer per day, plus travel expenses, meals, and accommodation expenses incurred by Deer Solution.
