What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Deer Solution does not explicitly offer financial assistance to franchisees. Item 19 states that Deer Solution Franchising LLC does not make any representations about a franchisee's future financial performance or the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. The document also specifies that employees or representatives are not authorized to make such representations, either orally or in writing.
However, if a prospective franchisee is purchasing an existing Deer Solution outlet, the franchisor may provide the actual records of that outlet. This information could be useful for assessing the financial viability of the specific location. The FDD cautions potential franchisees to report any unauthorized financial performance information or projections they receive to Deer Solution Franchising LLC management, the Federal Trade Commission, and appropriate state regulatory agencies.
While the FDD does not detail direct financial assistance programs, it does outline the franchisee's obligation to participate in the Sales and Support Center, which requires franchisees to pay fees that may include fixed overhead and variable fees, potentially impacting their financial obligations. Additionally, franchisees may be required to contribute to a local or regional advertising cooperative, up to $10,000 per territory per year, if one is established in their market. These mandatory expenses should be considered when evaluating the overall financial commitment of a Deer Solution franchise.
