You will not receive an exclusive territory. You may face competition from other franchisees, from outlets that we own, or from other channels of distribution or competitive brands that we control.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you enter into a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, you will not receive an exclusive territory. This means you may face competition from other Deer Solution franchisees, from outlets that Deer Solution owns, or from other channels of distribution or competitive brands that Deer Solution controls.
Deer Solution and its affiliates retain the exclusive right to engage in various activities without providing compensation to you. These Reserved Rights include operating and franchising Deer Solution businesses outside your territory, acquiring or merging with other businesses (even those offering similar services, though not using Deer Solution's licensed marks within your territory), and using alternative distribution channels like the internet or telemarketing, even within your territory. They also reserve the right to operate in captive market sites and serve corporate accounts, irrespective of your territory.
Deer Solution also has the right to solicit or accept orders from customers inside your territory and use other channels of distribution, such as the internet, catalog sales, telemarketing, or other direct marketing to make sales inside your territory. You will not receive any compensation for these sales.
While you must operate exclusively within your assigned Operating Territory and target your marketing accordingly, you may, with written approval, provide services in Open Areas (areas not assigned to another franchisee and within a designated zip code). However, this authorization ends if the Open Area becomes assigned to another franchisee, at which point you must transfer all customer information to Deer Solution for the benefit of the new franchisee.
