What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Deer Solution Franchise Disclosure Document, Deer Solution maintains strict control over how franchisees use websites and digital media. The FDD states that franchisees must assign all website and digital media accounts to Deer Solution. This means that while Deer Solution will identify and locate the franchisee's business on the company website, the franchisee has limited autonomy over their online presence.
All digital media and marketing used by a Deer Solution franchisee must be pre-approved by Deer Solution. Franchisees are only allowed to use advertising and marketing materials that Deer Solution designates and approves in writing. If a franchisee wants to use materials not already approved, they must submit a written request, and Deer Solution will approve or disapprove the request within 15 days.
Deer Solution also designates information about the franchisee's business on the www.deersolution.com webpage or other websites that Deer Solution may designate for the system. This level of control is common in franchising to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all marketing efforts align with the overall brand strategy. However, it's important for prospective franchisees to understand the limitations on their creative control and marketing autonomy.
