What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, in addition to the franchisee's owners and their spouses, other individuals are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Specifically, if a manager is hired to oversee the daily operations of the Deer Solution franchise, they must sign a confidentiality agreement approved by Deer Solution. Furthermore, all employees, agents, and representatives of the franchisee who have access to confidential information must also sign a confidentiality agreement that is approved by Deer Solution.

This requirement ensures that Deer Solution's proprietary information and trade secrets are protected from unauthorized use or disclosure. The confidentiality agreement likely outlines the scope of confidential information, the obligations of the signatories to maintain confidentiality, and the consequences of breaching the agreement.

For a prospective Deer Solution franchisee, this means they will need to ensure that all relevant personnel, including managers, employees, agents, and representatives, execute the required confidentiality agreements. The franchisee should obtain the approved confidentiality agreement forms from Deer Solution and ensure that they are properly completed and maintained for all individuals with access to confidential information. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the franchisor's intellectual property and business methods.
