What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Deer Solution Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with modifying the Administrative Office after termination of the franchise agreement.

Specifically, the franchisee must modify and alter their former Deer Solution Business, including the Administrative Office, as required by Deer Solution to ensure it is completely de-identified and differentiated from its former appearance. This is to prevent any public confusion about the continued existence of a Deer Solution Business at that location. The franchisee is also responsible for removing all distinctive physical and structural features, signs, trade dress, and emblems associated with the Deer Solution system.

The franchisee must initiate these actions immediately and complete them within the timeframe designated by Deer Solution. If the franchisee fails to do so, Deer Solution or its agents may enter the premises to make the alterations at the franchisee's sole risk and expense. Furthermore, the franchisee's failure to make timely modifications will cause irreparable injury to Deer Solution, potentially leading to a court order authorizing Deer Solution to take action at the franchisee's expense.

This requirement ensures that upon termination, the franchisee's former business location no longer represents or resembles a Deer Solution franchise, protecting the brand's identity and preventing confusion among customers. Prospective franchisees should be aware of these potential costs at the end of their franchise term and factor them into their financial planning.
