What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Deer Solution's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Ancillary Agreements' refer to all agreements between the franchisor and franchisee, excluding the primary franchise agreement itself. This also includes agreements between Deer Solution and the franchisee's owners, whether individually or collectively, and agreements with the spouses of the franchisee's owners, also whether individually or collectively.

Specifically, the term 'Ancillary Agreements' encompasses documents such as the Franchise Owner and Spouse Agreement and Guaranty, Lease Agreement Rider, Collateral Assignment of Lease, and the Assignment of Telephone Numbers and Digital Media Accounts. These agreements are separate from the main franchise agreement but are still binding and important for the franchisee, the franchisee's owners, and their spouses.

For a prospective Deer Solution franchisee, this means that in addition to the franchise agreement, there are several other legal documents they, their co-owners (if any), and their spouses may need to review and sign. These ancillary agreements cover various aspects of the franchise relationship, such as guarantees, lease arrangements, and the use of digital media. It is important to carefully review these agreements with a legal professional to fully understand the obligations and responsibilities they entail.
