What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Deck Medic may require a franchisee or their operating manager to participate in supplemental training under specific circumstances. If a franchisee hires a new Operating Manager, Deck Medic may require the new manager to participate in supplemental training. Additionally, if Deck Medic, in its Reasonable Business Judgment, determines that a franchisee is not meeting the franchisor's operational standards, Deck Medic may require the franchisee and/or their Operating Manager to participate in supplemental training.

Franchisees are responsible for paying a supplemental training fee. The fee is currently $600 per trainer per day, and franchisees must also reimburse Deck Medic for travel and hotel accommodation expenses, if applicable. These fees must be pre-paid before the training begins, upon submission of an invoice from Deck Medic.

Deck Medic also reserves the right to either approve or reject any request from a franchisee for supplemental training, based on Deck Medic's Reasonable Business Judgment. Furthermore, Deck Medic must approve all individuals attending and participating in both the initial Training Program and any Supplemental Training programs.
