Our current training program is to be attended by you, or if you are a

Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner and one Operating Manager at our training facility located in Frankfort, Illinois, at your location or other location designated by us. The training program takes place over an approximate two week period and is described below in this Item 11 in more detail.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is held at the training facility located in Frankfort, Illinois. The training is attended by the franchisee, or if the franchisee is a corporation, by the Managing Owner and one Operating Manager.

Deck Medic also offers initial training for replacement operating managers at facilities they designate. Currently, this includes the affiliate-owned Deck Medic Business in Frankfort, Illinois, certified training Deck Medic Businesses that may be designated in the future, the franchisee's location, or other locations designated by Deck Medic. Franchisees are required to pay a supplemental training fee for replacement Operating Managers, which is currently $600 per manager per day.

After opening a Deck Medic Business, franchisees (or their Managing Owner, if a corporation) may be required to attend a system-wide training program. This program is offered at the affiliate-owned Deck Medic Business in Frankfort, Illinois. Franchisees are responsible for all travel, lodging, food, automobile rental, and employee wage expenses incurred while attending. Deck Medic will not require attendance at a System-Wide Training Program for more than five days in any calendar year.
