What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, service vehicles must adhere to specific standards and specifications set by Deck Medic. These vehicles must be designated and insured for commercial use, and they are required to be wrapped with Deck Medic's approved branding and vehicle wrap. Franchisees are only permitted to operate their Deck Medic business from service vehicles that meet these standards.
To ensure consistent quality and system standards, Deck Medic requires franchisees to use only authorized and designated products, supplies, equipment, technology systems, and services. These specifications and approved supplier lists are detailed in the Deck Medic manuals, which may be updated via written or electronic correspondence. If a previously approved supplier's standards decline, Deck Medic will revoke the approval and notify the franchisee in writing.
In addition to vehicle standards, franchisees must maintain a computer system at their administrative office and an iPad or Surface Pro tablet with cellular internet access for each service vehicle. Furthermore, Deck Medic has entered into a purchase agreement with Image 360 for the service vehicle wraps that franchisees must purchase for their service vehicles. These measures ensure uniformity and adherence to Deck Medic's brand standards across all franchise locations.
