What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Deck Medic requires you or your Operating Manager to participate in supplemental on-site training, you, as the franchisee, are responsible for paying a supplemental training fee, which is currently $600 per on-site trainer per day.
In addition to the daily training fee, you are also responsible for covering the travel expenses, meals, and accommodation expenses incurred by Deck Medic for the supplemental training. This means that franchisees must budget not only for the training itself but also for the costs associated with bringing the trainer to their location.
This financial responsibility for supplemental training, including travel, meals, and accommodation, is a notable expense for Deck Medic franchisees, especially if the franchisee is not meeting System performance standards and requires additional training. Franchisees should factor these potential costs into their financial planning and be prepared to cover these expenses if supplemental training is deemed necessary by Deck Medic.
