What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase, license, and utilize QuickBooks for their business operations. In addition to QuickBooks, Deck Medic requires franchisees to exclusively license and use SingleOps as the designated point of sale and business management system, with one configured hardware terminal. Deck Medic will have direct access to all information entered into these systems by the franchisee.
This requirement ensures that Deck Medic franchisees use a standardized accounting system, which likely helps with financial reporting, compliance, and overall business management. Standardized systems also allow Deck Medic to monitor the financial performance of individual franchises and the entire franchise system.
Prospective franchisees should factor in the costs associated with purchasing, licensing, and maintaining both QuickBooks and SingleOps. They should also inquire about any training or support provided by Deck Medic for these systems. Understanding the integration between these systems and how they contribute to the overall management of the Deck Medic business is crucial for potential franchisees.
