Note 7: Technology – The continuing monthly technology fee is an administrative fee and is not associated with any particular service but is used, at our discretion, to defray some of our costs related to system website and intranet (the "Technology Fee"). Currently we do not charge a Technology Fee, but reserve the right to implement one at any time in the future provided that the monthly Technology Fee shall not exceed $500 per month. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company currently does not charge a monthly technology fee. However, Deck Medic reserves the right to implement a technology fee in the future.
If Deck Medic decides to implement this fee, the maximum amount that franchisees will be charged is $500 per month. This Technology Fee is an administrative fee that is not associated with any particular service. Deck Medic will use this fee to defray some of their costs related to the system website and intranet.
The Technology Fee also covers the fee of a single license for Single Ops software. Franchisees will pay the Technology Fee to Deck Medic or their designated supplier, as directed by Deck Medic. As the fee is currently not assessed, prospective franchisees should confirm with Deck Medic whether this fee will be implemented in the near future.
