What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Annual Conference Attendance Fee is determined by the franchisor, but it will not exceed $1,000 annually. This fee is paid by the franchisee to Deck Medic.
The Annual System Conference, if established, is organized by Deck Medic to facilitate networking and education among franchisees. Deck Medic decides whether the conference will occur in a particular year, including the dates, content, and location. The conference lasts no more than three consecutive days per calendar year.
Franchisees are responsible for all travel and attendance costs. Even if a franchisee does not attend the Annual System Conference, Deck Medic may still charge the Annual Conference Attendance Fee, potentially increasing the franchisee's expenses regardless of participation.
