Note 9: Annual Conference Attendance Fee – If we offer a franchisee annual conference in a given year you will be required to attend the conference on the dates and at the location that we designate. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Deck Medic offers an annual conference in a given year, franchisees are required to attend. The conference location and dates are determined by Deck Medic. Franchisees are responsible for covering all travel and lodging expenses associated with attending the conference.
Deck Medic may charge an annual conference fee, but it will not exceed $1,000. This fee, referred to as the "Annual Conference Attendance Fee," may be charged even to franchisees who do not attend the conference.
