What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual system conference is limited to franchisees who are in good standing. Deck Medic may coordinate an annual conference, but attendance is not mandatory.
Being in "good standing" typically means that a franchisee is current on all payments and in compliance with all terms of the franchise agreement. If a franchisee is behind on royalty payments, has failed to maintain required insurance, or is otherwise in violation of the agreement, they may not be considered in good standing and therefore would not be allowed to attend the annual conference.
This policy incentivizes franchisees to adhere to the franchise agreement and maintain a positive relationship with Deck Medic. The annual conference is an opportunity for franchisees to network, learn about new products or services, and receive updates on the Deck Medic system. By restricting attendance to franchisees in good standing, Deck Medic ensures that the conference is attended by those who are actively contributing to the success of the brand.
