What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company will respond within 30 days of receiving all requested information regarding a proposed administrative office location. Deck Medic considers the characteristics of the proposed site, whether it meets the criteria for non-retail back-office operations, and its location relative to the franchisee's operating territory and proximity to other franchisee territories.

Deck Medic allows franchisees to manage their business from a home-based administrative office if local laws permit. If a franchisee chooses to establish an operations center with a non-retail back-office facility for inventory, service visit staging, and vehicle parking, they are responsible for selecting a site within their operating territory. Deck Medic does not typically own or lease these properties and the franchisee bears all associated costs.

It is the franchisee's responsibility to ensure the site allows the Deck Medic business's establishment and operation and that they possess the necessary licenses and authority. Failure to meet Deck Medic's site selection requirements may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement without any fee refunds.
