What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement is included as an exhibit. Specifically, Item 1 states that prospective franchisees "may enter into a Franchise Agreement in the form attached to this Disclosure Document as Exhibit E to develop and operate a Deck Medic Business." This indicates that a copy of the Franchise Agreement, which outlines the terms and conditions of the franchise, is provided as part of the FDD.
Including the Franchise Agreement as an exhibit is a standard practice in franchising. This allows potential franchisees to thoroughly review the agreement with their legal counsel before making a commitment. The Franchise Agreement details the obligations of both the franchisee and franchisor, including fees, operating procedures, and termination conditions.
Prospective Deck Medic franchisees should carefully examine Exhibit E, the Franchise Agreement, and understand all its terms before investing in a franchise. They should also consult with an attorney or financial advisor to assess the implications of the agreement.
