What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must open their Deck Medic business and offer services and products to customers within their operating territory within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. Deck Medic estimates the time between signing the agreement and opening the business to be one to three months.

Several factors can affect this estimated timeframe. These include the time it takes to complete the initial training program, secure third-party financing, obtain necessary licenses, train staff, and purchase or lease and wrap a service vehicle to meet Deck Medic's standards.

Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these factors and their potential impact on the opening timeline. Delays in any of these areas could push the opening date beyond the 120-day deadline. It is important to proactively manage these tasks to ensure a timely launch of the Deck Medic business.
