Computer System
You must use the computer systems and Business Management Systems that we designate. You are required to maintain and operate the following computer equipment and systems: one tablet computer and one iPad or Surface Pro tablet with cellular broadband wireless internet access for each service vehicle that you operate, and one mobile printer. The current Business Management System and systems that we require for use in the Franchised Business are SingleOps, Office 365, and QuickBooks. You are responsible for maintaining updated and current versions of all software systems designated by us. You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all computer equipment and computer systems that we designate and require. Estimated costs for the maintenance, repair and update of the designated computer systems ranges from $500 to $1,500 per year. There are no contractual obligations imposed on us to maintain, repair, update, or upgrade your computer systems. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deck Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Deck Medic is not contractually obligated to maintain, repair, update, or upgrade a franchisee's computer systems. The franchisee is responsible for these tasks.
The franchisee must use the computer systems and Business Management Systems that Deck Medic designates. This includes maintaining and operating specific equipment such as one tablet computer and one iPad or Surface Pro tablet with cellular broadband wireless internet access for each service vehicle, and one mobile printer. The current required systems are SingleOps, Office 365, and QuickBooks.
The franchisee is also responsible for keeping all designated software systems updated and current, as well as for the maintenance and repair of all designated computer equipment and systems. The estimated costs for these maintenance, repairs, and updates range from $500 to $1,500 per year. Furthermore, the franchisee must provide Deck Medic with independent access to all information and data transacted, collected, and stored by the franchised business on these systems.
