The Franchisor
To simplify the language in this disclosure document, "Cost Cutters", "we" or "us" means The Barbers, Hairstyling for Men & Women, Inc. ("The Barbers"), the franchisor and owner of the Cost Cutters® hair care salon (the "System"). "You" means the person, persons or business entities, individually and collectively, awarded a Cost Cutters franchise, and "your Store" means the Cost Cutters store that you will operate if you and Cost Cutters enter into a franchise agreement, as described in this disclosure document.
The Barbers is a Minnesota corporation established in October 1968, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Regis Corporation, a Minnesota corporation ("Regis"). Regis is a publicly-held company on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange trading under the symbol "RGS." The principal business address for Cost Cutters and Regis is 3701 Wayzata Boulevard, Suite 500, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55416. The Barbers' agents for service of process are disclosed on Exhibit J attached to this Disclosure Document.
