What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Coffee News's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the weekly fee for additional hardcopy franchises can be paid via credit card, debit card, check, or PayPal. The fee for the initial franchise is $80, while the weekly fee for additional franchises is $25 per additional franchise.
The weekly fee for the initial Coffee News franchise begins on the first day of the third month following the month the initial franchise agreement was signed. For additional franchises, the fee is due on the first day of the tenth month following the month the initial franchise agreement was signed. Payments for additional franchises are then due every six months thereafter for each additional group of five or fewer franchises.
For example, if a Coffee News franchise agreement is signed on March 1, 2025, for six franchises, the franchisee pays $9,900 immediately for the initial franchise and $35,000 immediately for the five additional franchises. The weekly fee of $80 begins on June 1, 2025, and the weekly fee of $25 per additional franchise begins December 1, 2025. Franchisees should note that Coffee News reserves the right to adjust the weekly fees based on the annual change, in March of each year, to the consumer price index.
