What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Coffee News Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for providing the content for the "What's Happening" section of the periodical. This means that while Coffee News provides the format and information for all other sections, franchisees must gather and supply the content specific to local events and happenings for their edition.
This requirement allows each Coffee News publication to maintain a local focus, making it relevant and engaging for readers in their specific distribution area. By providing information on local events, franchisees can tailor the content to the interests of their community, increasing readership and advertising opportunities.
For a prospective franchisee, this means actively engaging with the local community to gather information about events, activities, and other newsworthy items. This could involve networking with local businesses, attending community events, and monitoring local media outlets. The franchisee's ability to effectively gather and present this information will directly impact the appeal and success of their Coffee News publication.
