What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Coffee News FDD, as a franchisee, you are primarily responsible for providing content for the "What's Happening" section of the periodical. The franchisor, 2703203, Manitoba, Inc., supplies the weekly copy that contains all other material to be published. This weekly copy is then distributed to Coffee News's United States publishers every 8 weeks.

In addition to the "What's Happening" section for the print version, if you enroll in Coffee News Online services, you are responsible for uploading all the advertisements and "What's Happening" events content into the online feature system. If you opt for the Premium Service of Coffee News Online, where Chil Consulting and/or Shadow Fox Consulting provide email marketing services, you would provide the email content to these third-party contractors.

While Coffee News provides the core content, franchisees have the opportunity to contribute local and timely information, making each edition relevant to its community. However, franchisees must get written permission from Coffee News before editing any of the copy.
