What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Coffee News Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can postpone the start date of their business by paying a postponement fee. If a Coffee News franchisee wishes to postpone their business's start date by one month or more, they must pay Coffee News an additional $1,000.00. This fee allows the franchisee to extend and hold their designated area before the full amount due under the agreement is paid.
Additionally, the FDD states that failure to make payments for additional franchises or weekly fees, as outlined in Schedule A, for 60 days from the due date may result in the loss of all franchises. This is at the discretion of Coffee News.
These policies are important for prospective Coffee News franchisees to consider, as they outline the financial obligations and potential consequences of delayed payments or postponement of business operations. Franchisees should carefully review Schedule A and understand the terms and conditions related to fees and payment schedules to avoid potential loss of their franchises.
