What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Coffee News Franchise Disclosure Document, the one-time training fee of $2,900 does not apply to existing publishers. This fee covers all costs, including mentoring and startup services, and is included in the initial franchise fee of $9,900. The FDD specifies that this one-time fee applies only to new Coffee News publishers entering the system.

Existing Coffee News publishers have the option to attend future initial training programs voluntarily, but they must cover their own expenses. This suggests that while ongoing training and development opportunities are available, they are not mandatory and do not incur the $2,900 fee for existing franchisees.

This policy benefits existing Coffee News franchisees by not requiring them to pay additional training fees, while new franchisees are required to pay the one-time training fee. Prospective franchisees should consider this when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Coffee News franchise.
