What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Coffee News's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, agreements may include up to a maximum of 20 franchises per publisher. The initial franchise fee for the first franchise is $9,900, with $500 allocated for document preparation. This $500 is deducted from the total $9,900 upon signing the initial franchise agreement.
For each additional franchise beyond the first, a fee of $7,000 is due at the time of signing the agreement. Coffee News may, at its discretion, offer short-term sales promotions to existing publishers who wish to purchase additional franchise units.
If a franchisee wishes to postpone the business start date by one month or more after receiving the initially executed franchise agreement, an additional fee of $1,000 is required to obtain such an extension and hold the proposed licensed area. All fees are non-refundable.
