What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Coffee News's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. This requirement extends to their activities on social media and other platforms. Franchisees must also adhere to the terms and conditions set by third-party sites they use. Coffee News emphasizes that it bears no liability for a franchisee's failure to comply with these laws, regulations, and third-party terms.

Coffee News does not monitor franchisees' compliance with these legal and regulatory obligations, and any approval by Coffee News of a franchisee's social media use does not guarantee compliance. Franchisees are responsible for ensuring that their employees, representatives, and agents also comply with these requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, compliance with the FTC Endorsement Guidelines regarding endorsements of products.

This means that a Coffee News franchisee must stay informed about and adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal laws, as well as the specific rules of any social media platforms they use for their Coffee News business. Failure to do so could result in legal consequences for the franchisee. Franchisees should consult with legal counsel to ensure they understand and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
