What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Coffee News Franchise Disclosure Document, all signatories to the Franchise Agreement, typically the business owners and/or principal officers of the entity, are required to complete the initial training program to the franchisor's satisfaction. This mandatory training is available in person.

The FDD also mentions Coffee News College, a two-to-three-day training program offered every 8-13 weeks for all North American franchisees. The business owners and their principal officers are required to attend the initial training program.

While franchisees are responsible for ensuring their employees comply with the Franchise Agreement, only the signatories are explicitly required to complete the training. However, the franchisee or a designated person must use their best efforts in the sale of advertisements and in distributing editions of Coffee News.
