According to Coffee News's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee who wishes to postpone their business start date by one month or more must pay an additional $1,000. This fee is required to obtain the extension and hold the franchisee's licensed area for the requested duration before the full amount due under the agreement is paid. This fee is non-refundable.
