What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Coffee News's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the fee for the first five additional franchises is due on the first day of the tenth month following the month the initial franchise agreement was signed. This is also referred to as the tenth month of the agreement. After this initial payment, subsequent fees for each additional group of five or fewer franchises are due every six months.
For a prospective Coffee News franchisee, this means that if you purchase additional franchises, you will have a period of time to begin operations before the additional weekly fees begin. This provides a ramp-up period to establish the new franchises and generate revenue before incurring the recurring fees.
It's important to note that these fees are paid to Coffee News via credit/debit cards, check, or PayPal. Franchisees should also be aware of the option to return the remainder of their franchise after every six months if they are unable to put the franchises into operation.
