What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Coffee News FDD, franchisees receive weekly copy within 14 days of signing the franchise agreement. Additional copy is then mailed in 8-week increments. This additional copy is sent no later than 5 business days prior to the end of the following 8-week period. This arrangement effectively reimburses the franchisee for weekly copy during the initial 3-month period of the agreement.

This means that a Coffee News franchisee will receive their initial set of content soon after signing the agreement, allowing them to start preparations for publishing. The subsequent copy is provided in advance of each 8-week publishing cycle, ensuring a continuous flow of content. The timing of these mailings is designed to align with the franchisee's initial setup and publishing schedule.

It is important for prospective Coffee News franchisees to understand this schedule, as it affects their planning and preparation for publishing. Knowing when to expect the copy helps in managing the overall workflow and ensures that there are no gaps in content availability. This also allows the franchisee to focus on other aspects of the business, such as advertising sales and securing distribution locations.
