What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Closet Storage Concepts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for personal expenses during the initial training program. These expenses include transportation to and from the training site, lodging, meals, and salaries for individuals attending the training. Closet Storage Concepts provides tuition-free initial training for up to 3 people, including the franchisee (or its equity owners) and the designated manager, before the Franchised Business opens.

If additional training is required for the franchisee, equity owner, manager, or other employees beyond the initial 3 persons, the franchisee must pay Closet Storage Concepts' then-current tuition for each person attending the additional initial training program. Each additional or replacement manager must also attend and complete Closet Storage Concepts' initial training program before assuming management responsibilities.

Similarly, for any refresher courses or supplemental training programs offered by Closet Storage Concepts, the franchisee is responsible for the personal expenses of individuals attending, including transportation, lodging, meals, and salaries during training. This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the initial training but also for ongoing training and development of their staff.
