We do not own any registered copyrights or patents which are material to the franchise, but claim common law protection for many aspects of our business including, without limitation, our Operations Manual and other manuals, advertising and promotional material, and training
materials and programs, proprietary computer software, architectural plans and designs, web sites and web pages, and other written material we develop to assist you in development or operations.
There are no currently effective determinations of the United States Copyright Office, the USPTO or any court, nor any pending litigation or other proceedings, regarding any copyrighted materials. We do not know of any superior prior rights or infringing uses that could materially affect your use of our copyrighted materials. We are not required by any agreement to protect or defend copyrights or to defend you against claims arising from your use of patented or copyrighted items or to participate in your defense or indemnify you.
You do not acquire any interest in our confidential information, other than the right to utilize it in the operation of your Franchised Business during the term of the Franchise Agreement. You may never during the Term, including any renewal, of the Franchise Agreement, or after the Franchise Agreement expires or is terminated, reveal any of our confidential information to another person or entity, or use our confidential information for the benefit of any other person or entity. You may not copy, record or otherwise reproduce any of our confidential information except as we may authorize.

According to Closet Storage Concepts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Closet Storage Concepts does not own any registered copyrights or patents material to the franchise. However, Closet Storage Concepts claims common law protection for many aspects of their business. These aspects include the Operations Manual and other manuals, advertising and promotional material, training materials and programs, proprietary computer software, architectural plans and designs, websites and webpages, and other written material developed to assist franchisees in development or operations.
Closet Storage Concepts states that there are no current determinations from the United States Copyright Office, the USPTO, or any court regarding copyrighted materials. Additionally, there is no pending litigation regarding any copyrighted materials. Closet Storage Concepts also states that they are unaware of any superior prior rights or infringing uses that could materially affect a franchisee's use of their copyrighted materials.

Franchisees do not acquire any interest in Closet Storage Concepts's confidential information, other than the right to use it in the operation of their franchised business during the term of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are prohibited from revealing any of Closet Storage Concepts's confidential information to another person or entity, or using it for the benefit of any other person or entity, both during and after the term of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees may not copy, record, or otherwise reproduce any of Closet Storage Concepts's confidential information except as authorized.
