ITEM 13 TRADEMARKS
If you purchase a Closet & Storage Concepts franchise, the following is a list of the principal trademarks that we currently license to you (the "Proprietary Marks"). The following principal Marks have been registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") on the Principal Register. You may not sublicense any Mark without our permission. This list may not be an exhaustive list of all Marks owned by us or our affiliates.

We also own and claim common law trademark rights in the trade dress used in your Franchised Business. Our common law trademark rights and trade dress are also included as part of the Proprietary Marks.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Closet Storage Concepts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Proprietary Marks' are the principal trademarks that Closet Storage Concepts currently licenses to franchisees. These marks are registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on the Principal Register. Franchisees may not sublicense any mark without permission from Closet Storage Concepts, and the list provided in the FDD may not be exhaustive of all marks owned by Closet Storage Concepts or its affiliates.
The registered trademarks include "Closet & Storage Concepts" (Registration Number 2320421, registered February 22, 2000), "Closet & Storage Concepts (plus design)" (Registration Number 4271254, registered January 8, 2013), "Conquer Closet Clutter" (Registration Number 2295417, registered November 30, 1999), "GETTING ORGANIZED IS ALWAYS IN" (Registration Number 5094072, registered December 6, 2016), "GOT SPACE?" (Registration Number 5493988, registered June 12, 2018), "GOT SPACE?" (Registration Number 5607582, registered November 13, 2018), "MAKE ROOM FOR LIFE" (Registration Number 4660379, registered December 23, 2014), and "INVISI-BORE" (Registration Number 6266044, registered February 9, 2021). There is also a trademark listed as "STYLE!" without registration information.
Closet Storage Concepts also claims common law trademark rights in the trade dress used in the franchised business, which are included as part of the Proprietary Marks. Franchisees' rights to use these marks are derived solely from the Franchise Agreement and must adhere strictly to Closet Storage Concepts's rules, standards, specifications, requirements, and instructions, which may be modified at their discretion. All goodwill associated with the Proprietary Marks remains the exclusive property of Closet Storage Concepts, and franchisees cannot contest their ownership. Upon expiration or termination of the Franchise Agreement, all rights to use the Proprietary Marks cease.
Franchisees are prohibited from using the Proprietary Marks (or any variation) as part of a corporate name, domain name, homepage, email address, or on a website, except for those licensed to them. They cannot use any other marks, names, commercial symbols, or logo types in connection with the franchised business. In the event of any infringement or challenge to the use of the Proprietary Marks, franchisees must immediately notify Closet Storage Concepts, who will have sole discretion to take action. Closet Storage Concepts will indemnify franchisees from suits arising from their conforming use of the Proprietary Marks, provided they promptly notify Closet Storage Concepts of the claim. However, Closet Storage Concepts reserves the right to substitute, add, or change the Proprietary Marks, with franchisees bearing the cost of changes at their approved location.
